"My great gran Ina Campbell's recipe straight from Scotland. Not too sweet, with a crumbly, melt in your mouth texture. The quantities are based on the metric system, but only because it's so authentic! Everyone we share this with absolutely loves it!"

  1. This can be made with a food processor, but the texture always turns out better when mixed by hand.
  2. Preheat oven to 300 deg F. Cream butter with sugar until soft and creamy. Add rest of the dry ingredients. Mix until flour is well incorporated to make a soft, slightly sticky dough (always easier when mixing with hands, rather than a spoon). Transfer directly to a non-stick 8"x11" pan. Flatten and press until evenly distributed. Prick entire surface with a fork. Bake for 55 minutes or until just slightly browned. While still hot, slice and sprinkle all over with sugar. Let cool, then enjoy!
