"Here's a simple recipe for taco soup that my mom makes, and has become a family favorite. I have made it with shredded chicken, shredded beef or ground beef. Turns out perfect every time. It could almost be called a mexican stew. So yummy."

  1. Cook the meat until no longer pink with the taco seasoning. If you are wanting to do shredded chicken or beef, place in slow cooker for 3 hours with taco seasoning. Once the meat is done, place all ingredients in slow cooker and simmer for at least 2 hours. Add a dollop of sour cream and shredded cheese and serve.
