"Got this recipe someware at All Recipes, but I can't find it again. It may have been part of another recipe. I don't know, but I don't want it to get lost, so I'm putting it back out there. Great by themselves, in salads, on deserts where ever."

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
  2. Pour melted butter into a medium bowl, and mix in the pecans. Stir until the pecans are well coated.
  3. Arrange coated pecans in a single layer on one or two medium baking sheets. Sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat, add more salt to taste while still warm, cool and store in covered containers.
