Heat oil in a medium wide saucepan. Add onion and saute over a low heat until golden brown. Then add garlic and saute for about one minute. Add orzo & rice and saute until golden, about three minutes. Add broth & salt, heat to boiling, then cover and simmer for about fifteen minutes. Remove pan from heat, keep it covered and let stand for about five to eight minutes at which time all the liquid should be absorbed. Then just fluff & serve.
