"I tried for years to duplicate the crab salad that was made in the seafood market i used to work for, but never could. However, I came up with this one and prefer it a whole lot more. My daughter will hide with the batch I make and eat it all. She doesn't like to share."

  1. Separate crabmeat by hand.
  2. Mix all ingredients together, crabmeat, celery, ranch dressing, mayonnaise, parsley and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Refrigerate over night, occassionally stirring to make sure all is coated evenly. Refrigerating over night helps combine all ingredients together with the flavors.
  4. Stir once more before serving, garnish with club style crackers.

I make this for my kids all the time, it's such a good and easy salad to make when you have a party or just being lazy watching tv. This is a creamy and delish salad, that doesn't go very far.

My search for the perfect crab salad is over. I use 2 1/2 pound of crab and adjusted the other ingredients accordingly. Definitely a keeper. Filed under my TNT folder.
