  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Soak the 2 end pieces in the milk for 30 seconds. Remove, wring the milk out and crumble the bread into a large bowl.
  3. Combine the beef, pork, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and ½ cup of the tomato sauce with the bread crumbs.
  4. Form this mixture into a loaf shape (or you could do mini/individual loafs) and place it in a greased oven dish. Place in oven to bake for 30 min (basting every 15 minutes with pan drippings).
  5. Mix the remaining tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire together in a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer (add water or beef broth thin) for a few minutes. Set aside.
  6. Brown bacon in a pan and drain.
  7. Remove meat loaf from oven after 30 minutes, pour the barbeque sauce over the meatloaf and place bacon slices on top. Place back in oven for 20-30 minutes. Let sit for 6-8 minutes before slicing.
