  1. 1. Combine sugar and milk in a saucepan. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. 2. Add vanilla and butter until melted. Pour mixture over nuts in a bowl, mixing well.
  3. 3. Spread on baking sheet and let cool completely.
  4. 4. Break apart.
