  1. *Rinse and clean chicken*
  2. In a large bowl add 7 cups of water 1/2 cup of salt and 1/4 cup sugar place the chicken in salt sugar water for 6-10 hours in the refrigerate before baking.
  3. Peal garlic and onion and place into the cavity of the chicken.
  4. Coat the chicken with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, 2 tsp of salt black pepper and lemon juice. preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  5. Place the chicken in a roasting pan, sprinkle 1 tsp of salt and drizzle 2 tbs of oil over the chicken. Bake uncovered for 2.5 hours or until the chicken reaches to a temperature of 180 degrees.
  6. Let your chicken stand covered for 10-15 mins before carving.
