  1. Grease a large baking dish
  2. Thinly slice potatoes (with or without skin)
  3. Layer Potatoes, diced Onion, and mixed cheeses
  4. Make aprox 3 layers or more
  5. Add wine to the corner of the pan. you should see it makes a good layer on the bottom of the pan. I look at the other side of the pan and once i see the wine i know it is enough.
  6. Bake at 375 for aprox 1 hour or until potatoes are done
