  1. Make spice blend from first six ingredients.
  2. Preheat oven to 275*
  3. Combine sugar, salt and spice blend. Set aside.
  4. Beat egg white with water until foamy.
  5. Add pecans (nuts) and toss until coated.
  6. Add sugar mixture to nuts and toss until coated.
  7. Place nuts in a sigle layer on buttered baking sheet.
  8. Bake 55 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  9. Spread out on a cool surface (paper or cutting board) to cool.
  10. Store in airtight container.
