  1. Pre-heat oven to as hot as it can get.
  2. Slice garlic cloves thinly.
  3. Spear the lamb with a small knife and insert as many garlic slices as possible.
  4. Sprinkle or rub in salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Put the lamb in the hottest oven you can get and immediately cut back the temperature to 325 degrees.
  6. Go to church.
