  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Saute onion in olive oil.
  3. Add beef, carrot, salt, pepper, sage, parsley, thyme, and tomato juice.
  4. Cook until hamburger is well done.
  5. Cut off end of bread and scoop out inside, leaving the thick shell.
  6. Scoop out the inside from the end piece too and save the shell.
  7. Add soft insides of bread to meat mixture mixing well.
  8. Pack mixture into loaf shell including the end.
  9. Attach the cut off end to rest of loaf.
  10. Wrap entire loaf in foil and bake for 15 minutes or until heated through.
