Cranberry Salad with Jello

"This recipe was given to me by a friend many years ago. I make it every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Even people that don't like cranberries like this because it is more of a jello fruit salad and very refreshing."

  1. Heat sugar & water on stove until sugar is dissolved. Add berries and cook until they pop. Remove from heat, then mash the berries in the same pan with a potato masher. Whisk in the jello powder making sure you mix well. Cool. Add nuts, pineapple, orange & apple before the jello sets.
