  1. Cook thin spaghetti according to package directions.
  2. Drain, cover and set aside.
  3. In large skillet heat oil over medium high heat.
  4. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring, one minute.
  5. Add pepper strips and mushrooms; cook two minutes.
  6. Add undrained tomatoes, basil, and pepper; bring to a boil
  7. Reduce heat to low; simmer five minutes
  8. Toss with thin spaghetti and parmesan
