  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add broth and stir frequently until mixture reaches a simmer.
  3. Add the sour cream and stir until melted. Add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Stir in cooked pasta until evenly coated with sauce. Let stand over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until sauce reaches desired thickness.


Just finished eating this for dinner and had to say how yummy it was!! Pretty much followed the recipe, but added some italian shredded cheese, chopped broccoli, and some grilled chicken breast ...

Pretty good. The sauce seemed a tad bit too thick for me, but the flavor was really good.

Oh my!!! The ingredients sounded delicious but the taste....(is there word after delish??) unbelievable. Warning: highly addictive!! Followed the recipe exactly and added broccoli.
