  1. Preheat oven to 350. Cut butter into 1/2 inch pieces & process all ingredients for shortbread in food processor until mixed & evenly press into 13x9 inch pan. Bake in the middle of the oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
  2. For the topping, chop pecans coarsely in processor. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, honey & cream. Simmer mixture, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Stir in pecans.
  3. Pour pecan mixture over hot shortbread & spread evenly. Bake in the middle of the oven until bubbling, about 17-18 minutes. Cool completely & cut into bars.
