  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees for a glass pan. 400 degrees for a metal pan. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Set aside. 1.) In a sauce pan on the stove top stir together the butter, Crisco, cocoa, water and vanilla. Slowly bring to a boil then remove from heat. 2.) In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar,baking soda, cinnamon. 3.) Combine the eggs and buttermilk with the dry ingredients. 4.)Then pour the contents of sauce pan into the the large bowl. Mix together well.5.) Pour into your prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes. Do not over bake. Let cake cool completely before frosting.
