  1. Combine all ingrdeients, except rum, in a saucepan and heat over medium high until hot and bubbly and cranberries are split. Allow to cool slightly and carefully tranfere to a blender. Puree until smooth or chunky, your preference. For an even chunkier sauce, puree only half, leaving some whole berries. Stir in rum. Transfere to a serving bowl and refrigerate overnight.
