  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix apples or peaches with butter in a 13"by9" deep dish baking pan (typically used for brownies).
  3. If using Apple recipe, mix in allspice and/or cinnamon.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, and the egg.
  5. This should form a crumb-like mixture.
  6. Sprikle heavily over entire pan, covering the fruit mixture.
  7. Place pan in center rack of oven; bake for 45-50 minutes.
  8. Serve plain or with ice cream.
