Santa Fe Soup II

"This hearty soup is great any time of year. It's like Chili but with extra flavors and more veggies this recipe is sure to please. Feeds plenty of people and the leftovers taste just as good as when it's hot off the stove(if not better)!!"

  1. Brown ground beef in large skillet. If using fattier ground beef, drain fat before proceeding to next step. If using 97% lean, no draining necessary. Add diced onions and let them heat up. Add both packets taco seasoning mix, both packets ranch dressing, 2/3 cups water, mix thoroughly and let simmer over med-low heat for about 10 minutes. While meat is simmering, open cans and mix all the contents together in a large pot. Once meat and sauce is done simmering, add to the soup pot and simmer over low heat for roughly 10-20 minutes, stirring often. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, flour tortillas or chips, and jalepenos if you like it spicy! Enjoy!
