  1. For marinade, combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame seeds (if desired) in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Pour over desired meat in a reclosable plastic bag or container and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before cooking.
  3. If using as a sauce, heat all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add a tablespoon of cornstarch to 1/4 cup of cold water then pour into saucepan with other ingredients, stirring constantly until thickened.
