"These granola bars are quick and easy to only have to toast the oatmeal and sunflower seeds..ground flax seed adds heart healthy essential fatty acids as well as can adjust the dried fruit to your liking!!..or you can add some crushed up nuts as well..just keep the measurement to 1 1/2 cups...brown rice syrup gives you sustained energy, but honey can be substituted..."

  1. toast the oatmeal and sunflower seeds in a toaster oven until lightly browned or put in 350 degree oven for 15 mins.
  2. melt peanut butter and syrup or honey in microwave for 45 seconds..
  3. mix the rest of ingredients and put in a lightly greased 8x11.5" pan...refrigerate until set and cut into squares.
