  1. Peel and dice apples and place in a bowl. Pour sugar over the apples and allow to stand for 20 minutes.
  2. In another bowl mix oil and eggs together.
  3. Once apples have stood for 20 minutes add the oil and egg mixture
  4. In a separate bowl sift flour, cinnamon, allspice, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add this mixture to the apples (after you have added the oil and eggs mixture to the apples) and mix well with a spoon. Then add the walnuts and mix thoroughly.
  5. Place in a non-greased 9 x 12 cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  6. Serve warm.
