"A wonderful rich and flavorful dish that leaves people coming back asking for more! I usually make this for family functions in honor of my Aunt Nancy (it was her recipe) and people always ask for the recipe."

  1. Cook beef in skillet and drain off fat drippings. Cut up bacon in bite size pieces and cook.
  2. Drain off drippings. Discard all drippings.
  3. Open cans of beans and drain off Kidney and Butter beans. DO NOT DRAIN BAKED BEANS.
  4. Chop onion.
  5. Mix all ingredients together and place in a 9 X 13 Aluminum pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered.

Heaven, pure heaven. We did end up cooking it a few more minutes but it was just what we wanted, old fashioned, wonderful baked beans. A winner here! TY.

This was SO GOOD!! I had to substitute some beans. What store doesn't carry butter beans?? I used white. I mistakenly bought chili beans instead of kidney beans but thank goodness they worked!!!...
