  1. In a large mixing bowl cream sugar and butter till light & fluffy.
  2. Blend in eggs and vanilla, then milk.
  3. In a seperate bowl, sift together dry ingredients, and stir in to liquid mixture.
  4. Fold in berries, and spread in a greased and lightly floured 9x9 inch pan.
  5. Make the crumb topping:
  6. Cream butter and sugar.
  7. Blend in flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  8. Sprinkle over batter.
  9. Bake in 375 degrees oven 30-35 minutes.
  10. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
