  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 12 muffin cups or use paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, 1/2 cup sugar, flax seed, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the bananas, honey, applesauce, water, oil and egg. Mix well.
  4. Add wet mixture to dry mixture and stir to blend. Fill prepared muffin cups with batter.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the 2 Tbsp. sugar, 3 Tbsp. brown sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of muffins.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
