Kid's Request Peanut Butter Cookies


"One day several kids from my church were over and wanted something sweet. I didn't think that I had much in the house at the time, but there were enough ingredients for something. These soft and chewy cookies were the result, and the kids loved them. Now they always ask for them. Here's my concoction!"

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. 1. Cream together peanut butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  3. 2. Mix salt and baking soda into creamed mixture.
  4. 3. Add flour to creamed mixture and mix together thoroughly.
  5. 4. Fold in peanuts and chocolate chips.
  6. 5. Form into balls and crisscross with fork.
  7. 6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes - until bottom of cookie is lightly browned.
  8. 7. Cool these on a rack or a plate and enjoy.
