Spicy Ginger Chicken Wings

"These wings are sweet, spicy and sticky but if you're in to the sweet ginger but don't like spicy, just leave out the serrano chilies. Make sure to test your chilies cause there can be a lot of variation in heat!"

  1. Blot chicken dry with paper towel. Dip chicken in egg, let excess egg drip off, then press chicken firmly in the flour coating all surfaces. Shake off any excess flour.
  2. On medium high heat, melt margarine until it is very hot (about 3 minutes). Place chicken in a single layer in pan. Chicken should be a deep brown on all sides.
  3. in a small pot, gently boil soya sauce, water, sugar, vinegar, accent, salt, chillies and ginger until slightly thickened. Toss wings in sauce to coat. Reserve excess sauce for basting
  4. At 350 degrees F, bake wings in a single layer for 30 minutes rotating and basting after 15 minutes.
  5. once plated, sprinkle wings with toasted sesame seeds.
