  1. In a stock pot, add the chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, onions, celery and spices.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, steam the broccoli until tender. Cook frozen corn 5 minutes.
  4. Add broccoli and corn to stock pot.
  5. In a sauce pan melt butter and add flour, whisk until well blended. Slowly add milk and continue to whisk until thickened. Add more milk if necessary.
  6. Slowly stir in your thickener to the desired consistency.
  7. Cook a few minutes more to blend.
