"Delicious tangy soup that perks up left over turkey for a cold winter's warm up. Lemony tart flavor with sour cream creates this old passed down family recipe that I modified to my tastes. If you freeze left over turkey from Thanksgiviing or Christmas, it really comes in handy."
Heat butter in dutch oven or large saucepan, add onions, celery, and carrots until crispy tender, stir in flour, cook for 1-1 1/2 minutes. Stir in the broth until it thickens, add turkey, salt, white pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, basil, tarragon, and parsley, open and pour in Sucess rice or cooked rice(do not put boing bag in). Cover and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, then add the sour cream, stirring to blend. Simmer for 5 more minutes on very low heat. Serve with bacon crumbled on top if desired.
