On a platter, spread refried beans. Combine sour cream & taco seasoning, then spread on top of beans. Layer cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, then dollop salsa and sour cream on top. Chill for a couple of hours before serving to allow time for flavors to blend. This can be served w/ tortilla chips. Also, this is so versatile that you can doctor up to your liking. Everyone I know loves it as is, and there is never any dip leftover.
