Sweet 'n' Spicy Pie Crust- with Whole-Wheat


"This is my variation of pie crust recipes. Which are usually bland and boring. This is a crust you can actually eat by itself if you were so inclined, it adds a touch of health with Whole-grain wheat flour. Brown Sugar and cinnamin give it some sweet 'n' spicy flavor. Makes 2 crust or one set of bottom/top crusts."

  1. Mix together dry ingredients in mixing bowl
  2. Add butter and mix with pastry blender (or two butter knifes) until butter is size of peas.
  3. Mix with 4 tbsp of very cold water, add more water until dough is squishy and vary slightly sticky.
  4. Shape into ball and divide in two parts.
  5. Roll out between two sheets of wax paper- moisten sheets
  6. May be refridgerated for later use, sit out to room temperature before rolling out.
