"A super easy anyday cake based on the old favorite, a cherry cordial. Marachinos could be replaced with Bing, and cherry syrup could be replaced with cherry candy flavoring, or omitted."

  1. Preheat oven to directions on cake box.
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
  3. Halve cherries. Reserve 3 tbsp syrup.
  4. Pour flour into a bowl. Pour the cherries in, and coat with flour.
  5. Fold cherries into cake mix.
  6. Pour mix into a greased Bundt pan. Bake for package time. Let cool.
  7. Bring cream to a boil. Chop chocolate into fine pieces, and pour cream, reserved juice, and liquer into bowl of chocolate (to form ganache) . Whisk until smooth.
  8. Pour over cake.
  9. Chill and enjoy! ♥
