Slow Cooker Kosher Autumn Mashup


"Combines the best of autumn flavors in one hearty low-budget mashup, with the ease of a pressure cooker meal. Makes the house smell wonderful while it is cooking. Tastes great. Is warm and filling while still being relatively healthy. The recipe below is slightly more than one serving. If making for more than one person, multiply all ingredients EXCEPT water and tea bag."

  1. Cut squash in half.
  2. Add squash, tea bag, and water to Crock Pot. Cook on high for 1 hour.
  3. Remove seeds and peel from squash (much easier now that it is softened). Remove teabag from water.
  4. Add peanuts, vanilla, and sausage.
  5. Cook on high for 4 hours OR cook on low for 8 hours.
  6. When ready to serve, stir in raisins, cranberries, and brown sugar.
