  1. Bake cake according to package directions.
  2. Cool cake completely, then crumble cake into large bowl.
  3. Mix thoroughly with 1 can frosting. I use my hands to mix this together. (You might not need all of the frosting.)
  4. Roll mixture into walnut size balls and place on parchment paper or wax paper covered cookie sheets.
  5. Melt about 30 candy melts in the microwave to use as a glue to hold the cake balls onto the sticks.
  6. Dip the tip of your lollipop stick into the melted candy coating and insert into the cake balls a little less than halfway.
  7. Place them in the freezer for a little while to firm up.
  8. Melt the rest of the Candy Melts and add the yellow food coloring.
  9. Once firm, dip the cake ball into the candy coating by holding the lollipop stick and rotating until covered. Once covered remove and gently tap and turn until the excess coating comes off.
  10. Place in a styrofoam block to dry.
  11. Once dry, draw faces or decorate with an edible ink pen and/or icing.
  12. Enjoy.
