  1. In a large pot, saute onions in oil for about 5 minutes on high heat. Add hamburger & cook until it browns. Salt & pepper to taste.
  2. Turn heat to medium, add the garlic, chili powder, cumin, red pepper flakes, & oregano all at once & cook for another minute.
  3. Add corn, tomatoes, & chicken stock, & stir until well mixed (rinse out tomato cans w/ about 1/2 to 3/4 cup water & dump in soup.
  4. Turn heat down to medium/low & simmer for at least 30 minutes uncovered (the more you simmer the better it gets
  5. Serve and top w/ sour cream, cheese & chips.
