  1. 1)Beat sugar, egg, almond extract, rum and milk together with a mixer till sugar dissolves.
  2. 2)Mix flour and baking powder together and mix with wet ingredients in 3 batches.
  3. 3)Add melted butter and beat on slow for 2-3 mins.
  4. 4)Coat baking dish with non-stick spray or butter and pour cake mix into it
  5. 5)Bake immediately at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until cake is done.
  6. 6)Cool for 30 minutes and remove from pan.
  7. 7)Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
