  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix peaches with sugar, tapioca, lemon juice, and nutmeg.
  3. Pour into unbaked pie shell and dot with butter.
  4. Cover with a top crust or lattice top, flute edges, and vent the top.
  5. Sprinkle with a little sugar.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 450, then reduce heat to 350 and bake for another 30 minutes or until light brown.
