  1. Trim white part from each petal place petals in bowl
  2. cover with enough of the sugar to cover leave overnight.
  3. Place remainder of suger and the water in a medium pan
  4. heat until sugar dissolves, add petal mixture and simmer
  5. 20 min. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, add the
  6. sure jel and boil an additional minute. Pour into
  7. clean warm jars, seal, store in a cool place.
