  1. Cook pasta 'al dente' in boiling water according to package directions. While pasta is cooking--In a large saute pan heat the oil over medium heat and add the garlic, saute for 2-3 minutes. You want to cook through, but NOT brown the garlic. Warm the chicken broth or wine in the microwave and melt in the boullion cubes. Add the broth mixture to the oil in the pan along with pepper flakes and ground black pepper-saute 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain hot pasta thoroughly and add to pan tossing well to coat and distribute the oil and spices. Toss in the cheese and parsley. Serve.
