  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the egg, vanilla, pumpkin, and applesauce and stir until almost moistened.
  3. Add the melted chocolate and stir to distribute evenly in the dough.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing.
