Grown-Up Burgers

"Here's a recipe I made up when the kids wanted burgers and I only had one package of ground turkey. The worstershire sauce combined with the garlic toast buns makes this a burger the kids might not care for but will bring the adults back for more."

  1. Preheat the broiler to low broil.
  2. Mix butter/margarine with minced garlic and spread onto open-faced hamburger buns.
  3. Place on a baking sheet and set aside.
  4. Mix first 4 ingredients plus the 2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce together and form into patties.
  5. Spray a pan with cooking spray and
  6. fry up burgers until they are done to your liking. (They should be cooked to 160 degrees).
  7. Reduce heat to low and pour in reserved cup of worcestershire sauce in pan.
  8. Allow to simmer until the sauce has reduced to a thick syrup (about 12-15 minutes).
  9. When there is about 7 minutes left, toast the buns in the broiler until they are golden brown.
  10. Serve with the toppings of your choice. My husband likes to spread some of the worcestershire reduction onto his.
