In a bowl cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one a at a time. In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, yeast and salt. Add flour and sour cream mixture to egg mixture alternating, starting with flour. Put dough in a oiled bowl, cover and allow to double. While dough is rising, prepare filling by melting butter in a sauce pan. When butter is melted add rest of the ingredients and mix well, cook over low heat about 10 minutes stirring very often so it doesn't stick and burn. Allow to cool.
When dough has risen, punch down and separate into 4 pieces. Roll each into a large rectange. Spread nut mixture onto dough, and roll like a jelly roll. Cover and allow to rise again. Brush with egg wash. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
