Cheesy Lox and Bagel bake

Original recipe yields 9 servings

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Spray non-stick pan with cooking spray (13x9 inch pan)
  3. Place bagel pieces in the bottom of the cooking pan.
  4. beat eggs, biscuit mix and 1/4 cup milk until well blended.
  5. Pour half of the egg mix over the bagel pieces.
  6. Toss the salmon, onion and garlic together in a bowl.
  7. Distribute evenly over the bagel pieces.
  8. Pour the rest of the egg mixture over the bagels.
  9. Whip together the cream cheese and sour cream and dill.
  10. Place half of the swiss and monterey jack over the bagel pieces.
  11. Pour the cream cheese and sour cream over the cheeses.
  12. Top with the rest of the cheese.
  13. Add a bit of pepper to the casserole.
  14. Bake in the preheated oven in the center of the rack, covered for 10 -15 minutes. Uncover the casserole and let the cheese on top get nice and bubbly.
  15. Serve hot with the chives snipped over the top of the casserole.
