Easy Thai Shrimp or Chicken

"This simple Thai style dish is made from common ingredients. The spices are adjusted to your taste, and it works well with shrimp or chicken. Best of all, you can have it ready in 30 minutes!"

  1. Add the oil to a large skillet and heat on high heat
  2. Saute the onion and garlic in the oil until onion is tender
  3. Add the carrots, celery and peppers, and stir fry 2 minutes
  4. Add the peanut butter, honey, soy sauce, ginger root, sesame oil and red pepper flakes, and stir fry 2 minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp or chicken,and peanuts(optional), and stir fry about 3 minutes until hot
  6. Place a pile of shredded lettuce on each plate, and top with the Thai shrimp or chicken.
  7. Serve rice or rice noodles on the side.
