"Mom used to make this to serve with havarti cheese or cream cheese and crackers. Can adjust the hotness by adjusting the types of peppers used. We always use food coloring to denote hot (red) vs mild (green)."

  1. Chop/shred all peppers.
  2. Add sugar and vinegar to a large pot with peppers.
  3. Boil for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add Certo.
  5. Add appropriate food coloring if desired.
  6. Ladel into sterile canning jelly jars.
  7. Turn upside down to cool and seal.
