  1. Brine the chicken the night before for even more moisture (put water in a bowl, add a few tsp of salt and a tsp of sugar, place the cleaned chicken in the bowl, add more water to cover chicken if necessary, place bowl in the fridge over night)
  2. Loosen skin on top of breast. Place chicken in slow cooker.
  3. Cut the onion into sections, a few more than quartered.
  4. Rub about a 1/2 of the seasonings from the packet of Garlic, Herb and Wine Marinade on the breast under the skin, on the legs of the chicken and put some inside the chicken.
  5. Place a section of onion inside the chicken and the remaining onion pieces surrounding the chicken.
  6. Stir together the chicken broth, olive oil and rest of the packet of GHWM. Pour over chicken, the slow cooker should have about a 1/4-1/2 inch of liquid on the bottom of the slow cooker.
  7. Turns slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours.
  8. *Any size chicken that will fit in your slow cooker will work, if needed use a little more chicken broth and another pkg of GHWM if more flavor is desired.
