"This is a recipe my Dad has been making for years. He is just about not allowed in a church pot luck if he doesn't have these. It is very easy, no cooking needed and mild enough for everybody. It is a great appetizer for Super Bowl parties!"

  1. Drain the Jalapenos. Slice in half and seed if necessary. (Wear Gloves!) Lay cut side down on paper towel lined baking racks to drain.
  2. Stir softened cream cheese until creamy. Stir in Picante sauce, mix until blended. Stir in shredded cheese. Mixture can be refrigerated for a day at this point. Bring to room temp before stuffing.
  3. Heap Cream Cheese mixture into each pepper half.(You may want to wear gloves for this step too.) Arrange decoratively on platter. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley.
