  1. Preheat oven to 175C
  2. Cream the sugar and margarine together.
  3. Add the eggs one by one and whisk.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients for the cake.
  5. Bake the cake for around 25minutes until an inserted knife comes out clean. Leave the cake in the warm oven.
  6. Melt the topping ingredients together in a small pan.
  7. Remove the cake and pour the topping over. Quickly return to the oven for a further 5 minutes.
