"This is a yummy pea soup that is guaranteed to warm up even the coldest days! For a little twist to this recipe you can play around and add different veggies such as leak, carrots, or anything that you think would pair good with peas. This is not a split pea soup recipe but a pea soup recipe. ENJOY!"

  1. In a medium pot, heat and drizzle with olive oil or butter which ever you preffer. Add the onions and the garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent and add flour.
  2. Let the flour cook down then add the peas and any other vegetable you with to add. Then add the chicken stock and water.
  3. Wait until all you veggies are well cooked then take your pot off the heat and let it cool just a little bit.
  4. Get your blender or food processor and laddle in a little bit of the soup (it is important that you only add a little at a time because this is hot and you could end up wearing it!). Start pureeing the soup and keep on going until all the soup has been pureed then you can save it and reheat it, put it in jars for baby food, freeze it in an air tight container, and anything else you can think of to do with it. You could also add some grated parmesan or sharp cheddar and make a great pasta sauce with samon!
